1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the website at envelopeinspection.ca ("Site") or engaging the services of EnvelopeInspection.ca, a division of Anyleak.ca ("Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.

2. Services Description

EnvelopeInspection.ca provides professional building envelope inspection, moisture diagnostics, thermal imaging, and related services in British Columbia. All services are performed by licensed and insured technicians. The scope of each inspection is defined in the service agreement provided prior to commencement of work.

3. No Professional Advice via Website

Information published on this Site is provided for general educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional engineering, legal, or construction advice. No client-professional relationship is created by viewing this Site. Engage us directly by phone or email for professional consultation specific to your property.

4. Inspection Reports

Inspection reports prepared by EnvelopeInspection.ca are issued for the exclusive use of the named client and the specific purpose stated in the engagement letter. Reports may not be reproduced, distributed, or relied upon by third parties without the Company's written consent. The Company assumes no liability for third-party use of inspection reports.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's liability in connection with any inspection service is limited to the fees paid for that specific inspection. The Company is not liable for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages arising from inspection findings or the failure to identify defects that were not accessible or visible under the conditions of inspection.

Thermal imaging and moisture testing are diagnostic tools subject to physical limitations, including environmental conditions. Inspections are performed under conditions present at the time of inspection and may not reflect conditions at other times.

6. Client Obligations

Clients engaging the Company's services agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the property and known defects
  • Ensure safe and adequate access to all areas included in the inspection scope
  • Obtain any necessary consents from strata corporations, tenants, or owners prior to inspection
  • Pay invoices in accordance with agreed payment terms

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, graphics, and inspection report templates, is the property of EnvelopeInspection.ca / Anyleak.ca and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
